POSITION:                Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Tech

JOB SUMMARY:      Performs therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory procedures as ordered by the physician.  Must possess the ability and skill to provide the required care to patients ranging from infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric.

Title: Clinical Coding Specialist

Job Summary: Responsible for coding all clinical records including IP/OBS/OPS/ED/OP/OT/PT/ST; to provide a quality record, coded, keyed and billed in an accurate and timely manner. Verifies all orders for compliance and medical necessity. Verifies documentation as to treatment and supplies/services charged. Compiles statistical data for PI/Training/Education/Reporting purposes.               

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: 

Education: Graduate or student from an accredited program for Health Information Management or coding certification preferred. Must provide validation of coding course completion. RHIT/CCS preferred.

 

Experience/Licensure/Certification: Coding certification preferred. Graduate or student from an accredited program for Health Information Management. Student must provide validation of coding course completion.

 

Skills: Ability to work in an individual setting. Ability to work well with medical record documentation.  Computer skills are a must.

 

Physical/Mental Demands: Office setting. Must be able to sit for long periods at a computer workstation.  Must be able to concentrate on tasks, perform work without direct supervision for the scheduled work shift.

 

Working Conditions: Moderate amount of sitting, walking, bending and working at computer monitor screen. Ability to deal with stressful situations and frequent work interruptions.

As a Help Desk Support Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for our internal users, providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Provide first-level technical support to internal users via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
  • Install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware and software.
  • Assist with user account management, including password resets and access permissions.
  • Document all support interactions and resolutions in the ticketing system.

POSITION:               Director of Med/Surg & SCU

JOB SUMMARY:   

 

The Medical Surgical Director will be a registered nurse which will report to the CNO. The

Directors responsibility will be delegating, and coordinating the nursing care facility for a continually

evolving team of patients. The Director is responsible and accountable for utilizing the nursing process

in the delivery of safe, appropriate, cost effective quality patient care and the direction of the team members

in the delivery of nursing care.

 

The Medical Surgical Director is responsible for the leadership role in their Department, coordinating

and delegating patient placement based on patient acuity and staff skill level.

 

This position will identify and address any quality-assurance auditing issues, assist with making rounds during

patient checks. This position also aids in coordinating nursing services programs within the department,

reviews staff performance and ensures standards of quality care are adhered to.

 

The Director will performs direct and indirect patient care activities; demonstrates effective positive

leadership in the department setting. Participates in the role of teacher/collaborator/patient                          

advocate; demonstrates effective communication and skills; demonstrates responsibility for personal and

professional growth; participates in creating an atmosphere of mutual trust, acceptance, recognition and respect.

The Director will work to identify and resolve departmental deficiencies and implement correction plans.

 

This Director also will participate with physicians and clinical staff as a multidisciplinary team as well as

planning, delivery, and evaluation of care to patients admitted to Rhea Medical Center. The Director will

perform staff education, competencies, evaluations and performance improvement audits.

 

 QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
  2. Tennessee RN license required.
  3. Certified in BLS required. ACLS and PALS preferred.
  4. At least 3 years of hospital nursing experience required.
